MEMBERSHIP
Becoming a member of The Senior Centre is easy! However, we have a couple of simple requirements that people must be able to meet before joining -
Be an independent* adult aged 55 or older.
Pay the year’s membership fee which currently stands at £30.
Submit a completed membership form.
We do like to meet with potential members first, this is a very informal 10 minute chat and tour of the building. It's a great opportunity for you to see if we’re a good fit for you.

2024/2025 Fees
For the year 2024/2025, the Board of Trustees has decided to increase the membership fee to £40 for the year. Members can pay their full fee at the normal renewal time in April. However, members also have the option to pay this over two instalments if they wise - the first in April 2024 and the second in November 2024.
*Independent in this case means that members should be able to cater to their own mobility and personal care needs while using The Senior Centre and/or attending trips.
Our small staff team does not have the capacity nor the training to provide personal care or support. Additionally, The Senior Centre is not registered with the Care Inspectorate which is required for an organisation to provide this type of care.
